Why DOUBLEtick Pty Ltd

DOUBLEtick - Perth's leading portable applicance testing & tagging specialists

A major reason businesses turn to Doubletick for their electrical testing & tagging requirements is for the wealth of experience & knowledge attained over the years from director, Russell Tuff. Since 1994 Russ has been in the electrical industry as one of the only restricted electrical licence holders in the Amusement Industry. Russ owned and managed one of the busiest Amusement Machine repair businesses in the country repairing such sensitive electrical equipment as pinball machines, video games & jukeboxes.

In 2005 under contract to the largest supplier and operator of Kiddie Rides in Australia, Russ then took to bringing to life with electricity new kiddie rides and repairing older rides. With safety for the children using the equipment top of the agenda, Russ set about cleaning up the industry in Western Australia with State Manager Steve Newborough. Electrical testing and tagging of the Kiddy Rides commenced in Western Australia in 2007. In 2009 The Australian government dropped the need for Restricted Electrical Licences stating that RCD's and Electrical Testing & Tagging had taken away the need to have restricted electrical workers doing electrical repairs on items that plug into the wall. This can now be done by any competent person. With safety as a paramount concern for Russell, Russell then turned his attention to protecting unsuspecting workers through electrical testing and tagging ensuring the safety of all workers, and having the electrical experience to back this new testing and tagging venture.

Best Practice Advertised

When you employ the services of Doubletick you are taking on best practice in Electrical Tagging. We let your customers & staff know that the business has taken this on with a seal. This seal is only supplied to companies where full certification has been met, and every item has been tagged. See the seal to the left of this page.

Loyalty Contracts

Doubletick has a pricing structure that gets cheaper with the volume of tags. Our bigger corporate clients such as Telstra and SGS Australia will have more than 500 tags on each site, so of course they will receive our best pricing (As with any company that has more than 500 electrical tests). However we haven't forgotten our grass roots, we all start off small. We reward loyalty. Some of our best clients are our smaller clients, they're loyal and they're great advocates of our business to other businesses. We want to reward their loyalty. Whilst the smaller business may lack the volume of electrical tests they certainly make up for it in loyalty. "What price do YOU put on Loyalty?" We put our BEST price on loyalty!, that's how much we at Doubletick value your loyalty. If you want the best price from the word "GO!", if you want the same price as the big corporates, we would ask that you sign up on a three year (no fine print) loyalty contract - Probably the same as your current alarm contract. It costs nothing to sign, you get your own logo on your electrical tags, and you get the cheapest pricing available from Doubletick. Please call and ask for more details to be sent out.

Personalised Service

All of our customers with more than 500 electrical tests or loyalty contract clients receive the added bonus of having their own logo put on each and every electrical tag. If you currently have electrical testing and tagging performed, ask if your current electrical test & tag company can give you this sort of service. Electrical tags with your company logo will advertise your business everywhere, on every electrical item. Some companies we have performed electrical testing and tagging procedures for have more than 4000 tags. That's more than 4000 times we have advertised for that client, now that's "branding". These tags also have a certain "ownership" feel when applied to the item. Not only does a electrical tag show at a glance that the item is safe, the tag also advertises for you, and shows the item belongs to the company.
